Years ago I traveled solo through Morocco and picked up little inspiring treasures along the way, these unique dome shaped earrings are a testament to one of those treasures, a carved shell, I found while wandering the souqs of Marrakesh. I took the shell to Pandawa, the man who does all of our carving. He intricately hand carved these out of water buffalo bone to look similar to the shell. We set these in 22k gold vermeil.
Because these are hand carved, each is a little different and because of the nature of bone, these will patina (change color) with time, with exposure to oils and chemicals.
