From our Matahari collection. Black and gold dangle necklace. This handmade and hand carved black water buffalo horn pendant hangs horizontally and is set in 22k gold vermeil with 5 tiny gold coins dangling from the piece.
Often times we get asked how we design our jewelry. This piece came to Samia in a dream and when she woke, she drew it and started the process of making samples. Each piece goes through a long process of samples and eventually the final piece which you see here!

Matahari is an Indonesian word meaning sun. Mata means eye and hari means day. Eye of the day or the sun. We love that and that's why we have an entire collection named after it. Also, in many cultures gold represents the sun and as you know, we love gold around here at Karazi Design.
