Circa 2009. While this piece was produced in 20009, it has never been worn.
In 2003, I went to Mysore India for the first time to study yoga. While I went there to study yoga, I ended up finding a new passion, Indian goldsmithing. During that journey, I met Kumar who has been my good friend and gold smith teacher since. We have created so many wonderful pieces of gold jewelry over the years. For the first time ever, I am selling some of the pieces online. They date from 2007 to 2011. Each piece handmade with recycled 20k gold using ancient Indian techniques, an art that is dying quickly with each generation. These pieces are all one of kind, they are so special and incredibly meaningful. They have been blessed in ceremony and have been made in collaboration, with love, sweat and tears. These pieces are extremely limited. With your purchase, you will be helping to support my good friend and colleague Kumar in India.
Photo is of Kumar hand engraving a piece of jewelry. This is an intricate process only a few highly skilled artisans are able to do this.
